Educated in fine arts and music since childhood in an bohemian background of musicians and painters, Daniel Ortega (ADF) is an argentinean DOP.
His career started in his early seventeens at a photography lab where he had the chance to explore and learn what he considers today his most precious knowledge about photography. After graduating from one of the most prestigious cinema schools of South America, ENERC , that early start took him to shoot 18 feature films -many with Argentina's most prolific directors- more than 200 music videos and 300 TV commercials around the world.
This artistic path combined with his technical skills helped him along his career to support each director's view in the process of filmmaking.
Based in Buenos Aires Daniel continue his work in Argentina and the globe.
